Please RSVP and vote for your selection for the Founders Fund.  We will tally your votes and vote the HPGC ballot based on the votes of our members.  The winning finalist will receive $30,000 and the two runners-up each will receive $10,000.  The winner will be announced by GCA in May.  The Winter issue of the Bulletin contains detailed descriptions and pictures of these projects.  The three finalists are:

1- Going Native:  A public-private partnership transforms forgotten land into an oasis of native planting.  This project will transform an overgrown city park filled with invasive species into a native garden in Ormond Beach, Florida.

2-Houston Hospice: family terrace and commemorative garden.  This project will provide transformative plantings to turn a hospice terrace into a comforing refuge.

3-Rhododendron Glen: Healing a historic stream and engaging all ages in urban water ecology.  This project will restore a stream bed at the Seattle Arboretum.
